About

Laura Baker Ménard is a French American writer-director. She loves New Wave films just as much as Hollywood blockbusters: Full Moon in Paris and Dumb and Dumber feature among her all-time favorite movies. Being quite prone to laughing and crying, she is fond of comedy-dramas. Her scripts and films blend fiction with non-fiction and stage complex characters, who are full of contradictions.

Laura delights in exploring the innovative world of television series, even though she remains strongly attached to the big screen. She is thrilled to witness the growing presence of women in the film industry, both on and off screen, and ever so eager to join this revolution.
